MULE DEER HUNT
Hunts
at Smeenk Ranches are 3 or 4 days long and we also offer combination
hunts. We will mail your application and licensing information when
they become available (usually in June). The South Dakota Department
of Game Fish and Parks issue deer licenses by computer lottery.

Book early as there are limited reservations.
Ranches are located on the prairie lands of western South Dakota. The area is home to a vast variety of wildlife including mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, turkey, grouse, ducks, prairie dogs, fox and coyote; our Ranches offer you the opportunity to hunt all of the species. The canyons and draws surrounding Castle Rock Butte and Deers Ears Butte provide abundant natural habitat for the wildlife. The Ranches will take care of all your needs during your hunt. Four wheel drive transportation will be used to travel to the different hunting areas. email:

You
may choose to drive your own vehicle to our camp or fly into the
Rapid City Regional Airport in Rapid City, SD. Someone from our
organization will pick you up and transport you to our secluded
camp. After your successful hunt, we deliver you back to the airport.
You will have the option to take you kill home with you or we can
transport to our local meat processor, and will be shipped to you.
Also available is an outstanding taxidermist with reasonable rates.
