PLAN YOUR TRIP

Please check the local forecast for Faith before arriving. Depending on the time of year, the weather can change drastically in a matter of hours. In the September/October months the mornings may be chilly and afternoons could be anywhere from 70 to 100 degrees. Most areas we hunt are also very windy. We recommend packing clothing that can be layered so you can shed items accordingly throughout the day.

Wounded Game Policy

At any time during your hunt, if an animal is wounded and blood is drawn, that is your animal. Your remaining time may be spent trying to locate that animal, but you will not be allowed to harvest another animal to replace the one that was wounded. This is at the discretion of the guide and/or outfitter. We always try to get our clients into the range that they feel comfortable with, but we all know that these things can happen to any of us. Thank you for your understanding.

Getting Your License

Every hunter is responsible for purchasing and arriving at the ranch with the proper South Dakota hunting license. Non-resident hunters are only allowed one deer tag and one antelope tag per person.

Archery:

As a non-resident hunter, even though you have to send in an application, archery licenses are guaranteed with no deadline to apply and the cost is approximately $375 plus a $25 Habitat stamp.
